Not bad...The treadmill is now where I can see the TV - didn't get on it this morning, though. I will. Don handled the whole thing very well - tried to blow up twice but I ssshhh'd him and he actually listened. Huh, who knew? He was bummed after it was all said and done - I had promised him 5 new tip-ups for the ice fishing contest this coming weekend and the store he wanted to go to was closed:-( All part of the plan:-)
Have a great Australia Day!

Moving day
Hello all - This may be my last post, so I will make it count. If I am never heard of again, I can assure you my husband had something to do with it. He very kindly moved my treadmill from the dining room to the computer room at the beginning of November. I promised myself and him that I would use it everyday in that room because I could watch the news on the computer and listen to all my favorite music. He had to take doors of hinges and completely disjoint himself to get the damn thing moved - it weighs about 200 or so pounds and had to be dismantled in parts itself. He sweated profusely, swore like a truck driver and made it QUITE CLEAR that "This piece of shit is staying put now - I ain't never doin' that again!" Well...
He's in the process of moving it back where it was originally because I am a total lazy liar and probably never had any intentions of getting on it back there - why would I? There is a nice chair in front of the desk that is quite comfortable while drinking my coffee and perusing blogs, web pages, paying bills, playing games, etc... I have discovered that if I don't use up 30 minutes on the treadmill in the morning, I can actually drink an entire pot of coffee. Let you know how it turns out - he's already swearing and trying to find the cat to kick it:-)

hi there!
Wow - have I been a slacker. What's up?
I posted my first item on E-Bay to sell...forgot to include the minimum bid, so there's a bowl floatin' around that is worth way more than $.99, but that's what I am obligated to sell it for if no one else bids. Live and learn.
Learned something new about my husband this weekend. We have been together 11 years and I never knew he could fix pipes. I guess it's something that never came up in conversation - he said it's what he did for over a year when he worked on the road with Home Depot, but I guess I never really paid attention. Bad Wife!
Oh yeah - the treadmill I moved into the computer room and promised Don he would never have to touch again...It's moving back out to take the place of the dining room furniture. Apparently I get sidetracked when I go to turn it on and end up sitting in front of the computer for 1 1/2 hours every day. It's time to get my fat ass moving!!!!
Holy shot on McGhee last night during the game. Happy that the Steelers are on their way as the representation of the AFC since the Jets are LOSERS - hear they may be picking up the D coach of the Ravens. I will tell you what angers me a little about the game last night - McGhee gets hit BAD, there's a lot of concern on the field and the camera goes to Ray Lewis (OJ, Jr.) on the bench. Well looky there - photo op, attention seeker Lewis grabs his helmet and runs on the field to kneel in prayer where the commentators speak more about that than what's wrong with he downed fella. WHAT A PHONY!!!!! I am sure he doesn't want McGhee to be seriously injured, but come on dude - don't be so transparent.
Happy Birthday Jennifer! Happy Birthday MLK,Jr. Have a great day! I took tomorrow off to watch the inauguration in it's full entirety!

Say what?????
So you think once you've been with someone for 11 years, you've seen/heard it all. Apparently not...Don and I were watching the game Saturday night when one of the guys jumped the line and was offsides...I yell "Encroachment", because I love saying it and I think the term is hysterical. Don yells, at the same time I do, "Emproachment" which makes my head snap around and say "WHAT DID YOU SAY"? This man played how many years of football in school, let alone has been watching the game for 30+ years. I was shocked. This man isn't stupid by any means - actually very talented and smart as a whip. All I could think about was the songs we hear on the radio and you can't really hear the words so you sing what you think they are?
Wrapped up like a douche an goin' runnin' in the night (Blinded by the light)
Have a great day!
