OK - I went to Sandusky, OH and Uniontown, PA. It was fun as always - Morgantown, WV is next month, hopefully. Lots of snow down in that area - we have none up here, so I was surprised. You could tell that by the way I packed. I took a pair of Crocs and a pair of girl boots and summer socks. I don't recall what I was thinking when I packed except minimize. I did a great job fitting everything into a small bag - I am practicing rolling, cramming and maximizing space when I travel. My friend that I travel with thinks I should put myself together enough to start hosting(?) a few of the shows I go to with her. Apparently all I would have to do is get up on stage, hold a microphone and introduce people and maybe throw out an entertaining line or two. I think I may give it a try at some point - The worst that could happen is the first time sucks well water and I never do it again. How hard is that. Another thing to cross off my list of things accomplished in life.
Just a little plug if anyone that I am not related to or haven't known since childhood is reading this...If you are ever in an area that Carole Deyoe or Carol Pennington is performing, you should definitely check them out. FUNNY and good comedy. You will definitely enjoy their shows.
HOLY J-E-T-S!!!!! Thank goodness we got to hear it on the radio - I would have loved to see it as it sounded like the D was AWESOME and the O was INCREDIBLE!!! Just so everyone knows, I am a bit offended when they are referred to as the NY Bretts although it is an ingenious play on words:-( The Giants looked great as well - Chris C. went so far as to call the two NY teams the two best in the league. Regis predicted a JETS/Giants Superbowl this year and how incredible would that be???
