I will be a year older in a few days. 39. I remember growing up, when my mother was 39 and I thought that was SOOOO old that I would never get there. Do you remember what it felt like to feel young and not understand that you wouldn't feel that way forever? I do. I am very happy with my life and who I have become because I actually really like myself, my job and who I choose to be around. I have taken some hard licks in life that were tough to get through, but I think they did nothing but help me become who I am. If I ever have children I won't be the type that tells them "Trust me, I know" because they need to experience life's lessons on their own...and I know from being me that they aren't going to listen anyway.
