Recession hurts everyone kitty

How do you explain to the cat that they are the first one to be affected by a recession. The news reporters may not be willing to come out and say it, but I drew the line with the picky bitch that lives in our back room this weekend. $15.00 a week is too much to spend on her finicky ass. We have tried substitutes, but she insists on top shelf and sister when it's between me and her - you guessed it. She is, of course, revolting. She is attempting to go the bulimic route and won't listen when I tell her she is only hurting herself and we ain't payin' for therapy. I don't care - hard food comes up the same way it goes down - I can vacuum that shit up.
